Pet Portraits What is this "fundraiser" for? *Naomi - A 10 year old Chocolate lab, family pet. Her Story- Just a couple of weeks ago my family's 10 year old Chocolate Lab was slowing down on eating, and ended up stopping all together because of pains in her mouth. We checked and an absess that had been growing on the side of her mouth for a couple of years now had finally grown onto the surface of her teeth which made it extremely painful for her to eat anything. We took her to the vet to get it checked out and she ended up getting a surgery, and the vet found four more teeth on the back that had absesses also and two on the side counting

You may notice that my name is different from other people who're named Vanessa. This is because my mother is German. In Germany people actually pronounce that name as it's read. (Vah-Ness-Ah). And here in the States, people pronounce it differently. (Ven-Ess-Ah). So this made my mother think that people SPELL it differently too! And so that's why my name is different. An
